Matthew Koutsky
Project Manager
Matthew Koutsky is a Project Manager at Ian Moxon Architect. Born and raised in Medicine Hat, Alberta, he graduated from Medicine Hat College's CADD Technical Illustration Program in 2005.
Matthew’s first drafting job was at Blue Imp Recreational Products in Medicine Hat where he worked on playground design, shop drawing production, and installation instructions. He later took an Architectural Technologist position with another local architect where he assisted on a number of projects of varying scales, and would become a Project Delivery Manager there.
Matthew moved to Ian Moxon Architect in 2017. He demonstrates the ability to plan, execute and finalize projects according to strict deadlines and within budget, while acquiring resources and coordinating both team members and consultants. Matthew is involved in all of the aspects of design, contract documents, specifications and construction of the projects he manages. He has been a leader in BIM for a variety of projects and promotes it inside the firm as well as in the industry.
